„The Way of the Book carriers“
In commemoration of re-permission of Lithuanian press 100 years ago
July, 17-25, 2004
Start: July 17 in Šiauliai;
Participance of the „Klojimo teatro“ festival in Kurtuvėnai, July 24, nice party;
Finish: July 25 in Šiauliai.
During this trip we will:
- cycle 40-60 km per day;
- visit 5 regional nature parks (Kurtuvėnai, Tytuvėnai, Dubyso, Rambynas and Pagramantis), nature reserves, mounds, cities, towns, museums etc …;
- visit the places, where the prohibited Lithuanian press was smuggled and the graves of it’s carriers;
- enjoy wonderfull nature;
- sleep in tends at lakes and rivers;
- pass the evenings with friends at the barn fire;
- take part in „Klojimo teatro“ festival and its nice evening in Kurtuvėnai
